NEWS FLASH Sarajevo Airport is continuing its efforts to secure a new service to Tirana. Acting CEO, Dino Selimović, discussed the initiative with Albania’s new Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spiro Koci.
Published at 1530PDT / 2230GMT 23SEP26 Luxair in Northern summer 2027 season plans to launch new service to Albania, operated by the new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. The airline will operate 2 weekly flights from 29MAR27.
The conflict has seen a large increase in flights to countries including Albania, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia as Europeans choose holiday destinations closer to home.
