Privacy Policy

JetTalks (www.jettalks.com) is a news aggregator. It has no user accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so we collect very little. This page explains what little there is.

What we collect

  • Analytics (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. It runs in Consent Mode: no analytics cookies are set and no identifiers are stored until you press Accept in the cookie banner. If you press Decline, Google receives only cookieless, aggregated pings that cannot identify you.
  • Performance measurements. Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights record page views and loading times. They use no cookies and no cross-site identifiers; data is aggregated and anonymised.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for a short time for security and debugging.

Cookies and local storage

Your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key jettalks_consent so we do not ask again. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) only after you accept. You can change your mind at any time by clearing site data in your browser; the banner will appear again.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share personal data.
  • We do not run advertising or ad tracking. Ad-related consent signals are always set to denied.
  • We do not profile you or build cross-site identities.

Third-party content

Every headline links to the original publisher. Images are loaded directly from the publisher's servers, which may see your IP address when they are displayed. Once you follow a link you are subject to that site's own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what data we hold about you, request its deletion, or object to processing. Because we hold no accounts, in practice this concerns analytics data held by Google and Vercel; we will help you with the request. Write to contact@jettalks.com.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects your choices, the cookie banner will ask for consent again. See also our contact page.
