WestJet Flight Attendants Go On Strike Over Ground Pay, Most Flights Canceled

WestJet, Canada’s second largest airline, is largely grounded as of today, as flight attendants have gone on strike over stalled contract negotiations. Unlike in the United States, it’s pretty easy for airline unions in Canada to actually call a strike. The question is, how long will it last, and will the government intervene?
