Pegasus Airlines, one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines, and AirAsia Group*, one of Asia’s largest low-cost airline groups, have launched a codeshare partnership linking their networks at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen. It is the first codeshare agreement in AirAsia’s history, and it opens for sale today.

According to the June 2026 On-Time Performance (OTP) report from aviation data and analytics company OAG, Pegasus Airlines ranked fifth in the world in the ‘Major Airlines’ category for carriers operating more than 20,000 flights in the month - with an on-time performance of 83.10%.

Pegasus Airlines, one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines, launched a new direct summer route on 15 June 2026, between London Gatwick and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International, further strengthening its UK presence network and enhancing connectivity between the UK, Türkiye and beyond. The new London Gatwick route joins Pegasus Airlines’ existing daily service between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International and London Stansted, giving passengers across London and the Southeast greater flexibility and choice when travelling between the UK and Türkiye.
